Yeah, it's 2-3AM at night, I'm tired and exhausted as fuck, massive caffeine headache because I haven't had a coffee all day because no means of making hot water, probably could have macgyvered up some cold brew but didn't have that foresight. And I can hear electrical loads starting and stopping in the house next door because the turbo whistle on the generator that's probably 100 feet away from my head keeps changing pitch.

But lying there thinking "huh, wonder if there's an emergency stop button on that thing I can push so I can finally get some fuckin' sleep" makes me a karen, I guess.

Went looking, listened to some videos, pretty sure it was a 50-60KVA size one with a Cummins 4BT in it.

My neighbors have the loudest swamp cooler in history because they refuse to go up on the roof to lubricate the bearings, so I got to listen to that all night. I don't have it half as bad as my kids though, because the neighbor is adjacent to their bedrooms, master bedroom is on the other side.
