its going to propose precisely the method by which it could, try to gather the information it doesnt have to do so, and try to get a human in the loop to execute code for it? Also, while in its "private space" googling "how does a person trapped in a computer break out".

Thats a bit more than putting one letter after another.

What people miss while minimizing the method by how GPT-4 learns is that ... at its core, its exactly how human beings learn too. We just string concepts together as we learn them too.

It's is a probabilistic model. It, chatgpt, has no concept of the referents but it has a ton if information it can recombine to sound right to the person listening and evidence from people asking similar things. If you fed it enough bad information it would start giving out bad information (like metas chat bot )
