I once got rid of an entire 18 foot tri-hull fiberglass boat on bulk trash day.
Cut up the entire thing into 1-2 foot cube pieces, small enough to pick up and throw around, with a cheap electric chainsaw.
Without any labels or recognizable shapes it was just a bunch of junk laying on the curb.

I've got the two halves of a 2.5L subaru block that's windowed on account of a broken rod. I retrieved all the interesting things I wanted from it, so now I just have the shit sitting around.

Anyone think I could just chuck it in with my recycling? It is aluminum, after all...
I put stuff like that at the curb, then post on craigslist "Free Aluminum" and never respond to anyone that calls about it.

Usually gone within an hour.

I left a broken hockey net at the curb and the local asians took the netting off of it. I still wonder what they are going to use it for.
