fuck me. Got a bonus (rare thing) at work for the first time. 3 grand.

After taxes i saw 1550 of that 3 grand in pocket. Primarily because bonuses are classified as supplemental income and are taxed at 22% base federal tax rate, and 7% state, then all the other stuff on top of it, medicare, ss, etc

Do good work get recognized for it! Taxes: fuck you, im takin more of it than the pay you get for the average work you do
