We use all systems at once depending on what it is so honestly I have no idea what the difference between imperial and metric is.

A pint is 564ml, in the US it's 500ml for simpletons. Google says our pints are just shy of 20 oz
 
A pint of beer in Canada is 568ml, per the Weights and Measures act.

You can even file a complaint online if the restaurant serves you a 'murican pint, and get government inspectors involved:

And this is why this country is awesome.
One more reason to move to Canada in a couple of years. Real pints!
