Well not really from my home because there's too many interruptions (read: wife and kids) there....... the in-laws were gracious enough to let me commandeer an empty room in their house, leech their cable connection and set up my shit :D

A nice relaxing 5 minute drive later, connect to work and *yawn* get to it.

This rocks :)

Didn't think I would either.... but they both leave early and work late, so by the time my 8 hours are up, I won't even see 'em. It's aaaaall good.
so you could spend all day looking at porn and they'd never know? sweet.

Driving 60 miles per day gets a little tedious for one thing, and I don't really have to be at work to do my job, and my boss supports any of his people working at home as much as possible, so I am :)
that must be nice, i've been trying to get network access through the VPN for a long time. It would make file archiving on wednesday nights MUCH easier. All the other kids do it, they just won't let me. :(

I can do most things from home through the VPN. And it's bad. I hurt my leg and couldn't drive for a few days and they said "Sure you can have the day off. Good thing you have VPN access so you can work from home. We'll just give everyone that needs you your home number." I wanted time off, not work from home time. I have tons of vacation time. And I sure as hell don't want any of the fools at work calling me at home while I'm enjoying some alcohol and pain killers. That just ruins a good buzz.

I asked my boss if I could work from home once. He said "sure", as long as I picked up my checks from the un-employment line. :sadpanda:

So, are they still delivering them to the unemployment line for you?
