Fuckin' reset the clock in the Audi today and didn't realize that the stalk you use to do that is also the stalk that dims the gauges (which I didn't know was a function the car possessed).

So I drove home with the gauges out, thinking I'd blown a fuse.

I do love simple fixes, though.
