LOL Florida.

Gov. Rick Scott signed a bill this month making Florida the first state in which it's illegal for any physician to "ask questions concerning the ownership of a firearm" or "harass … a patient about firearm ownership during an examination." The stated purpose of this law is to protect patient "privacy." Which raises a very important legal and constitutional question: Huh?

I'm so confused. Why exactly was this an issue?

because for some reason doctors were taking it upon themselves to discuss firearms safety - as well as things like pool safety and pet safety - with people during their kids checkups

Who cares though? Why did people need a law to protect them from conversation? Just tell the doctor to shut the fuck up and focus on your chest pain.

I think there was a rider on this bill about harassing nuns for their virginity status on a leap year

Jesus though. Why does that need to be regulated.

I THOUGHT REPUBLICANS WERE FOR LESS GOVERNMENT!!!

guess I was fucking wrong.
