Hawt 2nd Amendment Incorporated by the Supreme Court

Non-government company, against company policy, what's the problem?

medical mj is legal in MI and he was using it in a prescribed legal manner to help treat sinus cancer. that's like getting in a car wreck and getting fired because the doctor gave you morphine. big lawsuit

They should outlaw all drugs if you work for a company, nicotine and caffeine included. Fucking coffee stains on the conference room tables.

if you don't understand logic, it's ok. I wont berate you

There wasn't any logic to understand. You are wrong.

Weed is specifically mentioned as being against company policy at Wal-Mart, regardless of the circumstances, and that is their right and choice to have that policy. If you want to smoke weed, and happen to have a prescription, that's your choice as well, but Wal-Mart doesn't have to keep you employed if you do.

it is his legal right and medical requirement to do so. we don't even know if he was smoking it or merely taking pills but that's immaterial. the ACLU will be knocking on walmart's door over this, you can rest assured. you can't fire someone for a legal act. a number of companies in the 90's (including mine) made smoking cigs illegal for their employees and the aclu got that thrown out universally.
