We haul heavy shit in and out of boats in those containers, and they take a beating. No complaints.

Wow, that's not been my experience. I've got hundreds of pounds of cast iron shit in mine and they haven't broken a sweat.

I'll confess - they were in a 20-25f vehicle over night. But realistically only 40-50 lbs on top of them in another HDX container - glass items, all nicely padded, going to a show. Maybe I got a bad batch - plastic curing does get fucked up at the factorys occasionally. Again, just the lids - the box part seems just fine. Had to down-grade them to holding packing materials.
