Ontopic The Shooting Thread

On the other hand, the Cali shooter seemed like he genuinely had problems as opposed to being brainwashed.

I'd say disaffected. Which seems to be a large number of shooters.

The kid in NY idk, maybe more will come out. It doesn't really make sense someone in college with a put together life would just go off the rails like that.

NPR is currently on a 'better gun laws would've' prevented it rant which I'm really not here for

I'm sure it has nothing to do with being fed a steady diet of propagandized bullshit from the right and other gun nuts for years. Nope, it's gotta be some sort of psychosis.

Whew, thank goodness, I thought we might have some sort of systemic problem, but now that I can write it off as some crazies, I'll go back to sleep.

Any online political comments from anonymous or semi-anonymous people are almost always alt-right, legacy American, white supremacist drivel. I mean, the shit is all over Battlefield for fucks sake. If you're slightly an idiot I'm sure its easy to get rolled up in it.

The two dont really go hand in hand.

I was on a gun forum before [M] and after but the whole 8chan Mens Rights Gamergate Sad Puppies White Supremacist shit is relatively new. Most of it in until like 2012 was technical stuff and trying to get gear optimized for Afghanistan/Iraq and the zombie apocalypse. It will get you banned really fast on the old school forums too.

Point is I grew up on this stuff and somehow Alec Baldwin has a higher body count.

people still playing bf2042?

It's funny because Twitter can't moderate against white supremacy because the algorithm always ends up taking out GOP representatives and organizations.

Saw a white guy with a backpack on light up a smoke just as he got up to the grocery store and then stood staring in the door.

Pretty sketch

Thanks for sourcing. I was worried I was confusing it with Facebook, who scrapped some anti-disinformation tool because they were worried about GOP tantrums.
I actually have uncanny recall for text/pictures, freaks people out when I can read a report and vomit information months later. That's how the "google" thing got started. Talking doesn't stick so well.

Facebook actually... They will ban you for specifically threatening an individual. You wont get banned for blanket statements. So if you couch the wording correctly you can get away with just about anything. My engineer friend who moonlights as an "influencer" routinely gets banned for making specific statements. One of her vids she said "just yeet me off a cliff" and got demonitised for threatening herself.

Or he uses public transportation and knows you can't smoke indoors... And you bitches had a problem when I said going out to eat alone was viewed as massively sketchy.

Try being a 6' blonde white guy for a day.
