Ontopic UF Trade / Stock Thrad

I actually managed to buy low for once. I put 5k'ish that was earning nothing (or negative accounting for inflation) in the bank into a small "fund" of crypto. 1500 of BTC, 1500 of eth, 1000 of ada, 500 of algorand

Plan to long term hold as an "investment vehicle". Staking the ADA so it grows by 5.5% no matter what.

Its up almost 30% from when i bought.

I bought a couple hundred bucks worth of GTE back when it was at $0.59
It almost hit $1 yesterday, today its dropped down about 9 cents. I'm happy to let it hang out till the end of the week at least.
 
I'm trying to buy Floki for shits & giggles. Anyone bought this? Looking for a company that I can buy directly through. The instructions I'm seeing are like "mail a ham sandwich to India, crack an ostrich egg over your head, and then light yourself on fire"
 
There are any number of these so called shitcoins that you can likely make a ton off of if you capitalize on the cult of retards buying them

That's exactly my aim. Riding the coattails of the Elon Musk cult of personality with this one.

How's everyone's investments doing? I've only made like $10k on aapl in the last 6 months. Not exactly lighting the world on fire. Made $65k in the last 10 months in total.

Floki has a pretty impressive stock chart for the last 6 months steady. Looks like a nice dyno graph for tq.

im up like 40% from my first time crypto investment. Doin good.

I think youd be in the clear if you converted to another coin, and then reported the income on sale of that coin

I'm happy with GTE. Bought a couple hundred bucks worth at 0.56 (I think) and they have steadily climbed. Peaked at 0.99 last (?) week and are around 0.88 now.

Got high hopes for CLF as well. Should have bought when Evergrande tanked but was a bit strapped with the wife changing jobs.

Ford is doing well by me as well.

I had Ford for a bit at your suggestion but it was running so flat for a long time. Moved it into aapl just to set it and forget it for a while.
