Whatever, still don't care for LS swaps.C6Z. C5Z had 405hp. Anyway, you know as well as I that the engine was probably sourced from a wreck and the guy got a deal.
The engine isn't the only expense - F-bodies came with 10 bolt rear ends on leaf springs, transmission tunnels designed for Muncies, z-bar clutch linkages, no rack and pinion (just center link, steering box and idler arm), c-channel frames, and itty bitty (usually non-assist) brakes.
I get that the nostalgia is strong, but (and this paints me as a hypocrite for putting fuel injection on a 455) unless you're willing to put up with the fact that you're starting with a compromised platform that will never be as good as even a modern Camry, then it's kinda silly to build restomods with huge power motors like that.
