I haven't seen any data to support that theory. Money, access to quality healthcare, and comorbidities seem to be much more likely culprits.
I tried using ACA when I first got off my parent's insurance. Nobody would accept it and it wasn't much cheaper than the alternatives and had a high deductible, but if you're poor enough, Medicaid is awesome. If you're not poor enough for Medicaid you're probably just as screwed medically as the majority of Americans. Although I feel sure those who just barely don't qualify for Medicaid suffer the most.
Cuyahoga county, the biggest Democratic county in Ohio, just made wearing masks in any public place mandatory and people in the county are losing their shit over it. Unfortunately stupidity runs rampant on both sides at times. I mean we all witness that here when Wickie and Valve post on the same days.
