Bought this slab of texas pecan at a local place
Gonna be a coffee table.
It was rough-cut so I flattened it with the belt sander, then palm sanded it to a better finish.
Its pretty flat now. Did a couple of bow-ties in the big cracks, and Ill stand it on edge and fill them with clear epoxy.
For the legs Im going to use walnut once I find some.
Probably do a finish in danish oil
The epoxy & finish may have to wait for it to warm up a bit, been below 60f here the last week or two
 
nice nice. Spalting isnt too bad, but you might want to use something to take the grey tinge out unless you like it.
