fucking Gord Downie. We knew it was coming, sure as shit didn't want to hear the news today though.
Gotta give him so much credit for everything he did when he found out he had cancer, he didn't roll over and die but worked 10x as hard and did what he could until the end. Immediately went on tour (and goddamn, that last concert was incredible) and threw himself behind the indigenous reconciliation cause. Recorded two more albums and did another solo tour. Pretty much went out Terry Fox style, standing up for that cause.
