Food The (not so) delicious food thread

Broseph, $130 is a bit much.

You don't need to spend that kind of money on kitchen knives that will carve and slice with ease. You do need to know how to keep a basic set of knives sharp and in good working condition though.

Just get a short, medium, and long stainless with a decent handle, a whetstone, and teach her how to use the stone (preferably with a crazy eye leering at the beau).

A sharp knife is a good knife. An expensive knife that hasn't been maintained is a club.

I happen to know a guy who has one of these.

Right. So to a guy who can't produce enough insulin, 6 beers can be tough on the body. Like shooting alcohol.

I used to know a guy who snorted vodka. I'd still know him if it weren't for that pesky suicide.

Oh well, easy come, easy go as they say. Dude was alot of fun though.

Oh, hi!

I'm around. Switched back to day shift at work and have been hella busy + exhausted + fatigue/withdrawals from not drinking.
The fun withdrawals with hallucinations or just a little shaky?

None of that. Just extreme fatigue were I couldn't stand up for very long without getting exhausted. The first week was bad. The last 2-3 days have been better. Some sweating/claminess. I was doing about 6-8 heavy beers (~8%) a night for probably the last 8 years, not sure if that's enough to cause heavy withdrawals.
