15 years ago I was member of a band called Defrockt.
We went through drummers like tissues.
Adam was our guitarist. While I was away in the Philippines. They hired a drummer named Jen, who id attempted to woo unsuccessfully a few years before. Was slightly uncomfortable.
Adam and Jen started doing the horizontal bop.
Took the pressure off some.
One day the singer and I were walking into the practice space. Jen is shrieking at Adam..."YOU ONLY FUCKED ME CAUSE I WAS THERE!!!"
Singer turns to me..."Anyone else feel like a smoke?"
You ever feel like you can't win? Right now I do. That was sincere as well since I know she's there now dealing with stuff related to him and I know personally dealing with that isn't easy at all. Hopefully she'll take something I say right soon.uh maybe not the best time or place to bring dad up?

So there are 4 of us in my car heading out to WVA for our sales event. One guy says "hey instead of staying in DC and doing a 4 hour drive in the morning lets drive part way there and stay so we can have some drinks and enjoy a good dinner. I found a college town on the way there so there will be plenty for us to do". Except when we pulled in I realized said college is VMI so not what I would consider a kick ass time.
