Anyone ever bothered doing this? I might give it a whirl as of next week, partly because it will be much cheaper, but partly for the environment blah blah transport fuel pollution. After checking some UK sites the following seem to be in season this month:
Kale
Never had it.
Carrots
Deelish
Baby leeks
Arent these onions? Onion related. Probably barf.
Baby tomatoes
Deelish
Basil Y

Brown onion
BARFFFF
Brussel sprouts
I cannot handle how weird these things are. If they are included in a salad at a restaurant, I will eat them.
Cara potatoes

Cauliflower

Celeriac

Celery

Cep mushrooms
Wtf is a cep?
Chicory
What even is that? I've had chicory coffee once & I think the horrible aftertaste is still there.
Desiree potatoes
Who the f is Desiree?
Flat beans
Flat? Are then naturally like that? Do you smash them to be this way? ooookkk
Ginger
Used sparingly
Green Cabbage
I will eat, but I have never cooked with it.
Leeks
Weren't these up there? ^
Purple sprouting broccoli
Purple broccoli??
Red cabbage
I have this in salads if it's already chopped for me
Savoy cabbage
I don't even. What is savoy. All these varieties!
Shallots
Gross. I think. Onion related, right?
Peppers
Verrry picky with them
With most of them still in season next month. So, that being said come up with some meals I can do with the veg and minimal extras (a pasta, rice etc), preferably ones that use the same ingredients so I don't have to waste anything. Anyone else want to try out only eating seasonal fruit and veg?
@APRIL ?
