Pics Post pics of you at your heaviest, and you at your fittest.....

you should.....best way to catch that progress

Too late for that now. Fitness wasn't the point of the whole process anyway. This spring, when i start storming the pitch again, i'll be at my goal. When that happens i'll find a picture at my heaviest and take one at my goal. I'm not quite there.

For the record, i am 5'11". A year ago I weighed about 260. Around Feb of 2012 i started the training, but never really changed my eating habits. That summer i started eating smaller portions and healthier foods, which is when real progress started showing. I haven't weighed myself in a while, but my last weight was 205.

Whatever.

most progress doesn't happen in the gym...it happens in the kitchen

I wish more people would realize this. Fatties go to the gym, work off 300 calories, then "treat" themselves to a 700 calorie burger because they just worked out.

Seriously, only way to lose weight is to eat less. Exercising helps boost your metabolism and keeps you overall healthy but it won't make up for a daily 2000 calorie overage.

Or to eat healthier/smarter.......cutting carbs and eating proteins and greens can go a long way

Portion control. I eat just about anything I want and never clean my plate at restaurants.

America is stupid in that regard ... no one needs half of a chicken for dinner.

actually, just the plain chicken is great for you.....perfectly healthy lean protein. mix a half a chicken with a big serving of broccoli and/or green beans and you've got a perfect meal.
