I had one like this, full sized Impala with steel rims, but I wouldn't call it fuel efficient. We bought a retired police detective car. (its a beefed up crown vic) so far it's been tons of fun, and fellow motorists are exceptionally courteous to us on the roadways. We also get waved at/to by the police now.
Driving through the middle of the state last year, there was a state trooper speed trap set up, of course other cars on teh highway wouldn't pass us, so we were at the head of a very very long line of cars, and saw the trooper ahead with his speed gun. Upon our approach, he put the speed gun down, waved at us, and the put it back up after we passed. it was fantastic.
We find that when we're driving, cars move out of our way (nobody wants us behind them) and nobody passes us, so traffic has become less of an issue for us.
I highly recommend.

The brothers out here in Tampa LOVE them some after market police cruisers...
and pretty safe, I wrecked mine in a head on collision with a FJ Cruiser and the SUV got the worst of it.We get high 20's, which isn't super efficient, but it's livable. It's got some serious zoom to it, and the air conditioning can't be beat, tripple digits outside, The Beast (we named it) starts pushing out COLD air in 7 seconds. Cops got it right, that's for sure.

Were these Fusions post 2010 model year Fusions, with the transmissions from the much heavier duty Escape shoehorned in and with less issues based on CR, or were they the older more unreliable model years?
and who the fuck drives a buick that's under the age of 60?
