That is why the banks are too big to fail. They should have never been allowed to do all of that. We have seen historically our system works best with competition and not just a hand full of entities ruling an industry but we still let shit like happen and look how we all are being screwed because of it.

Then a handful of small LECs, and a bunch of smaller CLECs. And rumor has it that CenturyLink may buy the almost-bankrupt Fairpoint operation.

Two more are now verizon, and the last one is part of century link.
