Halp SURPRISE, HERE IS YOUR BOX OF AIDS!

Please tell me you're fucking joking. That's sick. I get that they're all gay and la de dar lets suck each others cocks and all but potentially giving people aids for fun?

You're either completely trolling or you're a terrible friend dave. :(

I hang round with drunks and degenerates but if anyone I know knowingly gave someone AIDS I would glue them to the road and drive over their fuckin head for being such an irresponsible POS.

its not like its surprise aids... the participants are well aware of the aids buffet... so essentially dave isnt sitting there handing out the aids himself...

dave u gotta admit there is something messed up about this.

I admit it is messed up. I admit it is the stupidest and most dangerous thing you can do in the search of pleasure. It's not an addiction, though, but rather a choice, and a choice some people make after weighing the risks and rewards. Quite honestly there is a large group of people and even part of me that can retionalize just getting infected now to relieve the stress of having to think about GETTING infected so much. It's exhausting to have to modify your primal urge to have sex with someone to slow down and think carefully about protection or surviving a case of blue balls because you don't see that risk as safe enough and denying sex completely. That is part of the inspiration for those bug catcher parties, frustration with the stress of protecting one's self and the freedom to not care anymore and just enjoy the moment.

I didn't say it was the right thing. I didn't say it was the smart thing. I just said it was one of the power motivating factors. No one I know that has HIV (not AIDS) is malicious about it, or is an aggressive gift giver. Most of them quite actually would never give it to someone else, even if they asked for it. But they still want to have sex and feel like a normal human sometimes, too. Forcing celibacy on them is not fair, either, is it?

Actually part of the reason they didn't want to have people I knew that wanted to come over actually participate is because they would rather make friends with them instead of sex toys with them. They would rather be friendly and not have to reveal their status than have sexytime with them and have to reveal. Because of the discrimination they feel just even having dinner with another couple. It's much easier to tell a random anonymous stranger you are poz and to come fuck you because that's all there is, just sex. Not a friendly relationship.

I understand why they did it, and it is probably for the best, but they weren't going to go into sexytime with my friends without telling them their status. Those that were coming already knew their status anyway.

But I guess I am as evil man as the gun seller or drug dealer or liquor store salesman. I guess I can be named an enabler.

I just think it's interesting that everyone was laughing or joking around in this thread until I mentioned the status of the bottom. What if I said he had any other STI? What if I didn't say anything? Why does it matter? The threat is the same.

it's about on par with purposefully injecting yourself with cancer. sane people don't do shit like that. :waw:

In some ways, yes.

To be honest, I'm completely dumbfounded, shocked, and disgusted that not only is this part of the gay community, but apparently prevalent. It's really, really sad. :(

I know I have come to the point of asking not IF I will get HIV but WHEN. I got exhausted from the fear.

Uh, straight couples don't have this mental exhuastion so why gay males? Straight people take precautions too, they don't like the idea of STD's or AIDS, it's not only gays that get HIV so I don't understand this logic at all and think it's completely unnecessary and defeatist.

TSRH!

The only reason so many have commented here and pretty much said the same thing is because a ton of people here care about you Dave.

So why should we embrace the community if the end result is? If anyone wants to be treated with respect and taken seriously then this isn't the way to do it.

I didn't want to talk about this anymore, but here I go.

Straight couples do not have as much as as gay couples. Straight couples do not have as much random sex as gay couples. Straight couples do not have as much polygamous sex a gay couples. And if only 1% of your population is infected and you don't do as many activities that could spread the virus, yes there is much less to worry about. When you are doing more activities that can spread AND there are 20% of your prospective partners positive, there is much much more to worry about.
