Sydney was weird because they had the waiting areas roped off and you had to show you boarding pass and id everytime you wanted to go to the bathroom. I also don't like how some Euro airports don't post the gate until like 20 minutes before the flight.

Which waiting areas are you talking about?

The seating areas by the gate itself. It might be because it was an international flight but it's always a pain because I usually take the red eye so I show up hours before the flight.

Can't remember the gates that well... How about the cramped security check through for international flights? Fucking hate that airport..

I wonder why Sabastian Bach would keep his master tapes of Skid Row stuff and KISS memorabilia in his now destroyed, flooded NJ home. If any of that stuff was important to me, I'd throw it into a bank vault. What an idiot.

They are pretty hard core on thier baggage sizes ad carry on sizes. Still worth the hassle. Going there and Auckland are always some of my favorite trips.

Auckland? Why on earth would you want to go there?

Have you been to Western Australia?

I like Auckland. It has gone done a bit over the years since they've opened up the China door. And not I haven't. Hoesntly I want to take a few months and just do all of Australia. I always get mad that I never have enough time to do everything. It like visiting the US and only being a of to pick one city to see.

One of my favs is Charlotte because they have rocking chairs but then again they have bathroom attendants which I hate.

I love Charlotte. Great layout, easy to get around, great central area, rocking chairs, and a nice local wine bar. But the city outside of the airport is about the most fucked up layout and stupidly labelled place on earth.

I'm just fucking around with Auckland. I have no idea what it's like there. It's just a rivalry thing.

If you drink red wine, you'll love southwest Australia. Also if you surf!

I rant into that problem in Heathrow, so I just had to keep lugging my luggage around that shopping mall of an airport.

were you US bound? i've been at extra security gates before, but only when flying to the US. it's because the require extra screening for those flights, TSA rules. The last time I flew Moscow to Atlanta they had a whole security check point, already behind security, to get in to the US bound gate.

We encountered a similar thing returning from Holland.
