Okay so my fridge is full of vegetables right now and I'm very concious of not wasting them. Last night I made an avocado, bacon and chorizo salad (very nice by the way) and used some various salad bits with it and put them in wraps. Was nice. Anyway here is a list of stuff I have, any ideas would be appreciated and please bear in mind I don't have any gadgets and I also have no working oven right now so it would have to be grill/pan oriented:

Aubergine (eggplant)
Green pepper
Yellow courgettes (zucchini?)
Peas
New potatoes
Baby tomatoes
Iceberg lettuce
Fresh spinach
Sprouting broccoli
Mushrooms
Bacon
Chorizo
Cheese

I have most staples like rice, pasta, pulses in tins etc. so any quick recipe solutions would be very much appreciated.

Take 6 of the peas and gently heat them through in water.

Get 2 chateaubriand steaks, roll in truffle oil then grated truffle. Fry.

Et voila! chateaubriand with peas.

Looking at that list, I immediately want to saute some mushrooms, bacon and chorizo, place it on half a baguette, cover with cheese and grill.

Also did you get my text about Aldi? They sell chorizo ring things like the whole sausage for £1.49 as well as all the American stuff right now. I had American pankcakes with butter maple syrup and hersheys chocolate sauce for desert last night.

Can I buy from Aldi without actually going in the store? People might see.

This has been my favorite recipe lately: http://naturallyella.com/2011/02/13/sweet-potato-and-quinoa-salad/
