GAY RELUBRICANTS Where are you now? lulz

lol @ you still having this misguided dogmatic view of the situation. Neither side gives a shit, man. It's all about getting re-elected, that's all a politician cares about.

Which is why I posted my statement, to what end do you carry these views?

then to all of them. . .

together everyone. . . awwwwwwwwwww.

I don't see the need to chastise her for wanting her paycheck. The decision to shutdown the government is completely out of her control. I highly doubt you would be different if your employer decided to shutdown.

if my employers shut down I'd be out of a paycheck. we call that reality.

and the shutdown is hardly out of her control seeing as she has a vote on it & can lobby the other members. But as usual, the "i dont' care what happens, just make sure the money doesn't stop" mentality prevails in washington.

You really think she could have stopped the shutdown single-handedly? And no where is she not accepting reality. If anything she is keeping it real.

I think it was more the saying she lives paycheck to paycheck comment.

Lots of people do this? I'm still not seeing a problem with anything she said. Like anything that garners an income, a loss of income throws a wrench into the works.

No one lives paycheck to paycheck with a 6 figure income unless they're dumbasses. And if she's a dumbass, she shouldn't be in office.

There are a lot of variables that comes into play as to why should would live paycheck to paycheck. You can't claim to know what she has to deal with.

She has homes to pay for. That does kind of make me mad. In a jealous sense. Kinda like that Republican who was demanding that he be given healthcare earlier in to his new term. That annoyed me too. The audacity of some of these people shows just how out of touch they are with the rest of us.

How is that out of touch? She invests her money. I see nothing wrong with that.

so the reason she doesn't want to give up a paycheck is because she wants to keep investing, doesn't want to have to figure out how to live without one less 'home'. Nice to have that available when the rest of America is living paycheck to paycheck just to make ends meet.

bitch tryna play like shez everyday America with 'homes' LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

I can see how a published author who is also a congresswoman who comes from a well off family will need the help that even cutting her salary down to the lowest 6 figures would cause.

When the money is no longer there, it's time to cash in said investments to help. Keep in mind, she's living paycheck to paycheck which means enough to make ends meet without having to foreclose.

It's insensitive to have that kind of income and complain about not being able to live within her own means. There isn't anything wrong with complaining. But it does make her look like a dickbag.

I don't think that's what she said. Or at least that's not how I took it. She's going from over $6k per paycheck to $0 per paycheck during the shutdown.

If you have money to invest and by invest I mean owning more than one roof over your head, you are NOT living paycheck to paycheck. Paycheck to paycheck is having 0 in savings and affording food and your current lodging and utilities and any insurance legally required, and perhaps medical coverage, and that's it.

So she probably has a different meaning if "paycheck to paycheck"..
