GAY RELUBRICANTS Where are you now? lulz

This is the best solution, maybe offering major medical coverage for catastrophic injury/illness but for the day to day stuff, get rid of insurance completely. This won't work though because of the insurance machine, so greedy, so hungry.. that's the real villian here.

also, you've got levels of benefits. When the economy is up you get corporations that want to offer their employees 'better' coverage, or, people that earn more $ want to shop for the best care they feel they can afford. -demand- This is where the 'creep' starts. Slowly and surely the ins co starts managing all your health needs and you let them. From cough syrup to long term care. When the economy turns south lots of folks still feel entitled when the $upply runs out. And here we are.

you keep trying to legislate all the "what if's." You can't.

if someone has to file bankruptcy it sucks, but it's a way to resolve the problem and they move on. The entire medical community is aware of this and still manages to function. All the Mexican vimmens traipsing into this country to have kids for free and all the people that use the ER as their primary doctor for 'emergency' reasons with fake names and addresses somehow still yields a parking-lot full of medical professional owned Mercedes and Lexus'.

But for some bizarre reason because you're not happy with their situation so you want my situation to pay even more for it. fuck off.

You are paying for it. I want the system to be restructured so your tax dollars being spent on this mean a whole lot more. Instead of these people using the ER as a GP, make it socialized and have them visit an actual GP.

And what happens when someone needs more medical care while already bankrupt?

And what happens when someone needs more medical care while already bankrupt?

we send them to australia.

lolz.

you & the 'what if's.'

& no one likes the cost/benefit of the 'restructuring' currently proposed. Not even the elected officials & their staff in washington. They have exempted themselves from actually having to participate in the restructuring. Which is really easy since they've also promoted themselves to the top 2% earnings bracket as well as designed their own preferred healthcare plan.

inorite? there is no control over things like that and it can ruin you financially for life. shit's not right.

it's already extremely unfair for the vast majority of us. soul crushing debt on top of a serious medical condition is pretty fucked up

Just out of curiousity, suppose all of this planning and strategizing and obscure bill-passing and union stripping and CEO outing for voting democrat works. Suppose Dems can't compete in elections because of lack of funding and support and visibility because they are not backed by corporations. Suppose Repubs get back into office and have full control over the Congress and Presidency?

What then?

Isn't the whole purpose of ANY government official no matter how local or federal to serve the citizens of that municipality? To serve ALL of the citizens, not just corporations? To serve, not collect a larger income? Truth be told, if these politicians just stayed as lawyers, their personal practices would earn them more money than the salaries they make in office. If they just stayed as CEOs of corporations, they would make more money can in office.

Why do it then if it isn't for the money? For the power? The power to do what? What is the motive? What is the motivation? Obviously it's not to serve your own citizens and make other people's lives better. Is it to take over other people's lives? To what end?

See Rick Scott. He went in to change laws to make his company more money when he leaves office. And for a crapton of post office kickbacks he will receive from all his buddies for all the laws he passed that benefited them as well.
