GAY RELUBRICANTS Where are you now? lulz

What if there was no insurance at all? You just pay what teh actual cost of the product or service was? You can shop around to the different "shops" for the best rate and go there for those services. I am sure more people would be getting serviced if it was cheaper because more people are getting serviced. It's like a feedback loop; more people feed into the system, the price goes down for the same service, more people use that service, etc.

The cost of the service is caused by the price the docs command (which is far too high because they have to pay malpractice insurance premiums that are far too high) and/or part prices (which even after the expensive R&D are overinflated with prices).

Maybe healthcare minus insurance should work like 3rd party mechanics and cars.

But it's a much more complicated issue than you're making it out to be. It isn't simply, "shits too expensive, down with money hungry doctors!" Your issue isn't with healthcare per se, it's with health INSURANCE, which is completely different. Insurance compaines are crippling the healthcare industry, and that's just the true reality here. I mean, if you could step down from your high horse for a second and maybe actually see what's really going on then we can have a discussion, otherwise I'll just leave you to your anit-American ranting on the internet.

Yeah you're not saying anything new here, making disgusting claims, and then dodging them call out. Typical right wing bullshit. Turn on any news channel and you will see more right wingers doing the same damn shit.

drama, drama, drama. you gotta stop with all this fiction. you're starting to sound like you believe it.

Again, side stepping the discussion. Why post on an internet forum if you don't care to respond in context to what people say to you? You're like a spam bot.

Actually yes. Currently, most people cannot get a primary care physician because most do not accept Medicaid.

Just for the sake of argument here, what other industry is expected to operate without compensation? Doctors pay astronomical amounts of money for malpractice insurance, they pay employment taxes, income taxes and all of the other expenses of any other functioning company, but they're also expected to work for free, or for near free (public aid writes off most of it's charges, so doctors seldom see reimbursements there)

See, you're just making crazy assumptions here. I have real life working knowledge of a specific part of the system and I'm giving real life examples and you're throwing out generalizations and categorizing me into villiany! Fruitless and futile indeed!

This is the best solution, maybe offering major medical coverage for catastrophic injury/illness but for the day to day stuff, get rid of insurance completely. This won't work though because of the insurance machine, so greedy, so hungry.. that's the real villian here.

I made no comment on your experience. Only one simple comment on how I disliked (read: thought it was disgusting) your comment of how you believe healthcare to be just like any other luxury item.

I was fully willing and able to address anything you want me to, just put out something relative to the discussion.

That's one of the villians anyway. Nobody here has mentioned the AMA, which is completely in the business of price fixing and artificially maintaining a doctor shortage.

Ahhhh that's working out so well for you guys ain't it? Bankrupting your fellow countrymen simply because they need a single surgery procedure done. What a fabulous country!!!!!

you keep trying to legislate all the "what if's." You can't.

if someone has to file bankruptcy it sucks, but it's a way to resolve the problem and they move on. The entire medical community is aware of this and still manages to function. All the Mexican vimmens traipsing into this country to have kids for free and all the people that use the ER as their primary doctor for 'emergency' reasons with fake names and addresses somehow still yields a parking-lot full of medical professional owned Mercedes and Lexus'.

But for some bizarre reason because you're not happy with their situation so you want my situation to pay even more for it. fuck off.
