When an organisation investigates itself, finds fault and looks to correct it, it says an awful lot about it's integrity. Like I said, there's a liberal leaning in the BBC but it's not political. There is as much criticism of the government as there was of the last one. That's uncommon in the media.

And just to add, before you assume I'm a lefty. I used to work for Conservative Central Office running elections.

this makes one believe that you don't actually know a damn thing about the paper, you just believe what others tell you about it but you'll never know for sure because you don't want to click a single link and actually see something for yourself.

You don't actually know much of my politicial leanings, you can call me a hippy (despite my loathing of all self indulgent and self importat liberal hippies) and presume all you like. I have as many right leanings as I do left and therefore don't affiliate myself with any politics except the issue being discussed at the time. I rarely give out my own true political thoughts online either because I find debating politics really very droll and pointless indeed.

And because I am not willing to currently show support for a right wing progandised anti-immigrant rag I wouldn't wipe my ass with even if I had no toilet paper doesn't mean I know nothing of it or am uninformed. Are you sure that I've not spent years of my life reading such trite before I became enlightened to the bullshit it writes? :)

if there's a liberal leaning then it's by definition political since liberal in this sense is a political ideology. that doesn't mean it has to align to any particular party or organization but it's still political

ok? I don't assume anything about your own political leanings, brotato. but the organization itself admitted it has an institutional bias. good that they recognize it and try to fix it. bravo.
