I watched half of Jamie's American Food Revolution yesterday.

sh*t like that is what makes everyone in the world think Americans are retarded inbreds. 'Does anybody know what this is??' 'Uhhhhh' 'Well kids it's a potato'.

And  not letting kids use a knife and fork until they're 10. The people who decided that need to be stabbed in the face with a knife and fork, backwards ass idiots.

Is he saying that kids shouldn't or that people say kids shouldn't use knife and fork?

The elementaries he goes into (which he explains is for kids under 10) don't allow knives. He was flabberghasted and they wanted 'proof' and 'evidence' that in England we let our children use a knife and fork in school. They wouldn't actually believe that he was shocked.

I'm trying to remember back, but I could have sworn that we had knife and forks in the lunchroom (how else could you eat chicken patties, and things like that) I don't think everything they made was finger foods.

Of course what they did 25 years ago and what they do now could be completely different.

The school menu was pizza for breakfast and chicken nuggets for lunch. Not exactly nutritious eating.

So are you allowed knives now?
