Who over there lives right next to USF? Specifically near the Veteran's Hospital.

What is the area like and would people there be afraid of a former drill sergeant who was also an airborne ranger?

Read: My parents are moving there so I might be forced to see you guys more often.

I used to live over there.

It was ok. Food was pretty good. Other than that it was a pain to find stuff to do but parent age should be ok with it.

We used to live a tad north of that area. Its a slightly older area, but if you go five miles farther north its all new money people. Yick.

Ehh. Tampa is very one street is bad next street is good. Really depends on where.

Well I did tell you guys exactly where other than the exact address. Right across the street from the Vets hospital. Then you guys say stay away from the street basically right next to where they are.

I just want to make sure my parents will be fine. My dad will be packing heat, however, my dad's personality may rub some people the wrong way too.

It's easy to avoid Nebraska Ave. though; there is nothing that your parents will want from that street. I don't recall any trouble at all around the hospital either. It's just a normal suburbia area.
