Thread What's your state bad at?

Alcohol: the state is in charge of regulating it yet we have state liquor and beer barns (where you must buy it by the case).:( Hopefully our new governor (Corbett) will change this.

Thankfully the local Wegmans has a beer license and sells food so they can sell it by the bottle or six pack (2 max).
PA sure has some messed up liquor laws.

Last time I stayed there we went to a "pizza" shop that also happened to have a massive beer cooler, could buy all the beer we wanted but only two six packs at a time - and had to order food I think.

When are politicians going to learn that if they just let the voters stay drunk all of the time that they would have a better chance at getting reelected?

So far as I know they only have offer already prepared food for them to sell six-packs (i.e. a bar). I used to buy mixed six-pack from Market Cross Pub without ordering any food. Damn it was expensive. It cost me as much for 2 six-pack as it would for a case of decent hefe-weizen.:(

Thankfully Wegmans beer prices don't rape you in the wallet.
