on a good weekend piss and barf slosh to and fro down the car. on a bad day there could be worse
when I was about 16 me and a buddy had someone try to sell us fake IDs whilst crossing the common to a club. he talked a good enough game that we gave him like $40 a piece and we were to meet him 30 mins later across the common while he set shit up. we got some form of govt ID from him for safe keeping to ensure he would keep his side of the bargain. it was his food stamp picture card or something very close. we ran into him at the pre-designated place but he just happened to be driving by in a car with his fellow grifter paying no attention. welp, we ran onto the street and beat the shit out of their car the best we could in the middle of the downtown boston intersection. fucking lol! kicked door panels to hell, ripped off the antenna, but stopped short of breaking windows due to being kids.
first lesson in the ways of a big city
I try to stop and check out the awesome art the students produce while I'm work all of the time. I see some total crap sometimes and other times I see stuff that is just breath taking. It's fascinating to see the various talents the kids have. I get to see early work of future comic book artist, architects, graphic designers, painters, sculptures, movie directors, jewelry designers, actors, computer animators, theater, and I could keep going. I think that's one of the big reasons I've worked at the college so long.

We're doing ok at the moment. Her phone is dying and needs to be replaced. We have a 10 year anniversary coming up and valentines day a few days apart so I'm trying to think of a few nice gifts for her. If I don't I run the risk of getting smothered in my sleep. She deserves to be rewarded for putting up with me this long.
that is awesome and I can identify with why you've stayed. I LOVE art of all types. you should post us some of the better stuff you've seen or better yet become their online sales agent. I'd love to see their offerings and would probably buy some. no joke. get yourself a cut and get them the exposure talented artists deserve.
I had the largest graduating class the school ever had at 72 students and it was before win95 to give you a depressing idea of how old I am.

I'm bipolar so I tend to be emotional distant at times to avoid issues and she's a very emotional empathic person so I can understand how I can be hard to be with sometimes. We both make mistakes in our relationship.
There is a painting in one building I want to steal. It's fairly big and so many people love it. There is a famous Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving dinner painting that looks like this.
A student replicated it so perfectly you'd swear Norman painted it except to the left of the guy in black is Disney's bambi with a shocked expression on his face staring at the middle of the table where Bambi's mom is spread eagle on the table with an apple in her mom and a glazed over deadish eyes. It's so fucking awesome.
One of my old offices use to have a few playing card paintings done by Dali that were so fucking awesome. A vp heard about them and swiped them from my office and had some work by some semifamous russian painter put in to replace them but her work was no where as good. The college has a monster collection of art work so you can request the art work in your office to be swapped out periodically.
Towards the end of each school year you can start hitting garage sales in downtown Savannah and often the students sell off a lot of their art cheap because they can't fly home with all of it. It's also a good time to get cars, scooters, and various furniture cheap.
