FYI No more "New Every Two" for Verizon customers

If you guys havent already done so, check with your HR departments to see if your company has any deals for cell phone service discounts. It's somewhat common to have on and tell no one about it.

The Mrs and I get 10% off our service through ATT because of her job.

we have deals through my company. company pays for my BB though. haven't paid for a phone since early 2001

The only thing that makes me stick with T-mobile is that they have phones which allow you to make phone calls and send text messages with a wifi connection. I am not aware of any other carrier that has that option, and since no carrier has good service at my house if I want to use my cell phone at home it is a must. It's a pretty nifty feature anyway.

Does Sprint even offer smartphones??? I know when I left them there still didn't even have BB as an option.

...

Not only do they have the country's first 4g capable smartphone, but they have all two 4g capable smartphones.

They have a crap ton of Android devices, they used to have a lot of Palm devices, and yes, they do have BB devices.

Looking at the 4G coverage maps from their website it only covers small portions on areas.

i just checked my data usage, i use my internet all the time and it's only at 144mb with a week left on my billing period. tiered plans would probably save me a shitload on my cellphone bill instead of paying for unlimited everything.
