Hawt Run for your life it's snow and ice and rain and my tires are bald!!!!!!

Or just work for people that have some concern for the welfare of their employees.

Or that, yes. But if you have 14% unemployment in an area (like Cleveland) you will take whatever job you can find and try not to piss off your boss.

Then you take a bus or a taxi or a bike or just walk but leave in the morning earlier or get home later. There is always an option, there is always a way. It might not be the most convenient or cheapest or fastest, but again that isn't your employer's concern. Get to the office on time or it looks bad in your performance appraisal.

I'm assuming you've never taken a sick day off at work right?

something about someone whining that his boss was responsible for the car accident, and him being late, and now him gunna git fi-red.. I think it was, "I wouldn't have had to run that red light and gotten into that accident if my boss wasn't going to fire me for being such a lazy ass. It's not my fault that I'm always tardy, it's the stoplights, weather, my wife, and other stuffs, and been late 10 times already. It's his policy that after 10 times ya get fired if it happenz again!"

I know. I just need a rational example of how it's the bosses fault "to a degree."

I sometimes wonder how you keep your life alive day to day, and don't end up stabbing yourself with a spoon.

I don't wonder about how often you blame other people.

I'm not blaming anyone hear you buffoon. These are the regulations at my work place under certain circumstances.. Did I ever say I agree with them or not? No I did not.

just walked around and not even mcdonalds is open. the whole city is shut down. walking back in my building I found a bistro downstairs open. she's making me some grilled chicken and chili. limited menu but that sounds great.

I was 16 years old, had just moved to Indy (from 14 yrs in chicago) and had just returned from a ski weekend. Everyone in Indy boarded up because there were 4 inches of snow on the streets. They were begging my mom to take them to the grocery store because she knew how to drive in >_>, <_<, the snow. I had to return a pair of Rossi's that I rented or they'd charge me an extra day. So I tell my dad & ask him to drive me & he didn't even look up when he said, "You'll be fine. Drive slow. Take your sister (14yrs old) if you think you need to talk with someone."

I drove slowly & ya know what, no accidents. no sliding. no maurice sendak experience.

And . . . no late penalties.
