Thread Pathetic bullsheet of the DC metro area.

That guy could of dropped that bitch at any point. He's obviously just a non-violent person, and that's fine.

Pepper spray would have worked wonders in a metro system.. That would have fucked the cell phone cameramen also..

Is that legal to carry in DC?

You need to apply for essentially a firearms license to own some in MA.

I don't think it is, but I used to confiscate lots of the those from people entering the embassy back when I was working in security.

I even bought Juli a law enforce grade one, but the silly girl left it in her purse when she went through security at BWI airport.

What is that social psychology concept of a group of people that witness a crime and do not do anything to stop it?

This article has a bunch of seemingly relevant links to stuff about that:

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the story

"diffusion of responsibility"

Interesting. Kinda makes sense, if I'm on my own I'm way more likely to stop crimes than if I'm in a crowd. I guess that says something about not wanting to stand out. Weird. However I think if I was in a crowd WITH someone I know I'd more likely to help than if I was in a crowd of just strangers.

At night, I dress up in a cape and mask and go looking for crimes to stop. Preferably in front of strangers. It's called the 'delusion of responsibilty' effect.

There was a gay bashing not too long ago in Houston similar to this. The guy was stabbed multiple times and just sauntered off with a crowd just watching as he walked away.
