shit I didn't think about that. fuck. because all of my beer would be coming from chicago/wi area. hmm, maybe just reverse the course lol.

If you kept going south on I81 instead of cutting off to I64 to see us, it's about the same distance back up to Lewiston as it would be if you just cut off to begin with.

Another idea: each stop has something to PIF to the next stop. So we could send something to the CNN cabal in ATL.

When I last did a long road trip, I had to make sure I had the time(s) the beer stores closed, what kinds of places sold beer, if Sunday sales were allowed, etc, all mapped out.

wow that's a lot of thinking. I was just picking up stuff in Cleveland, Madison, and MN. Since I will be in two of three of those places more than one day, i am sure I can find an open store, especially since Cleveland has sales on sundays.

Chim will guide me to the right stores.

Updated the first post with my tentative itinerary. Thoughts?

Apr 16th - Leaving Houston with Chim and heading to New Orleans (hotel stay)
17th - Spend whole day in NO
18th - Leaving NO for Tampa (hopefully staying with fly?), chim flying back home to Houston.
19th - Spend whole day in Tampa area (hopefully staying with fly?)
20th - Leaving Tampa for Atlanta (hopefully staying with w_a_w?)
21th - Leaving Atlanta for Lewisburg and/or Blacksburg (staying with Valves or two options in Lewisburg?)
22nd - Leaving Virginias for Baltimore area (hopefully staying with eileen and IBWIP?)
23rd - Leaving Baltimore for NH area (hopefully staying with chikken?)
24th - Leaving NH area for Ottawa (hopefully staying with tre?)
25th - Leaving Ottawa for Toronto (staying with family)
26th - Leaving Toronto for Cleveland (staying with family)
27th - Spend whole day in Cleveland (mostly beer shopping and hanging with family)
28th - Leave Cleveland for Toledo for class reunion (hopefully stay with a friend there)
29th - Leave Toledo for Chicago (hopefully stay with a friend or flynavy?) (more beer shopping)
30th - Leave Chicago for Madison (hopefully stay with lilms or redwallflower?) (more beer shopping)
May 1st - Leave Madison for White Bear Lake (stay with in-laws, chim flies in and we celebrate his birthday with family)
May 2nd - Spend whole day in MN visiting family and inlaw's new lake house
May 3rd - Leave MN with chim to St Louis (hopefully stay the night at a friend's)
May 4th - Spend whole day in St Louis (friends might be joining us there from Chicago)
May 5th - Leave St Louis with chim to Dallas (hopefully stay at Sarcasmo's?)
May 6th - Leave Dallas with chim for home
