So now that I'm getting 2-3" of snow on top of the leaves, what's the best action to take in getting rid of them? Should I even bother?

you're gonna hate spring. You'll have to wait until then. Leaves will be wet, matted down, and unbelievably heavy. Just keep raking & mowing in the spring. Riding mower. Riding mower. Riding Mower.

meh... this snow should be melted soon.. Then I'll have frozen leaves..

I guess I could knock the leaves loose with the rake and then push them all in to a pile with the blower.

The snow mold will have set in and the grass will be pretty much toast.

De-thatching, aerating and re-seeding will be in order

I'm not going to leave it until spring.. I'll probably be removing the leaves this weekend. Whether there is an inch of snow on there or not.

a carry blower (backpack or handheld) isn't going to have enough power to do much very quickly. & for the size yard, you could try two other options, rent a lawn vacuum (the commercial leaf removers use them.)

that thing will do 1000x more damage to the leaves than mowing them up, & it's got a bagger if you have to bag them. (I'd burn them if you can)

Or, rent one of these bitches.

Seems like there aren't any lawn & garden rentals near me.. Or none that have a lawn vacuum for rent.

I think a blower is the only viable solution right now. It may take sometime, but that's ok because it's not going to be very strenuous..

I'm looking at picking up a Husqvarna backpack blower.
