THE HUNS ARE INVADING THE FORAMZ!

different comedian styling's are one thing, but i just don't think they can get away with half the crap here that they can in britain. to much safety oriented crap going on here, whereas in the uk they can go all out and have almost killed themselves doing so multiple times. there's just way to many restrictions here.

I'd say it's less restrictive here than in the UK.

It's not that necessarily but rather what they stars can say. there is no way they would have a program if they would be allowed to rip on their own sponsors. Because the BBC is just one large pool of money with many different sponsors, TG UK can get away with ripping on anyone they want. A small channel like History has a few sponsors and having a program piss them off would be a bad idea.

The UK is almost synonymous with safety, the only stumbling block they'd have here is with the insurers, like on those Mythbusters episodes where stunts have been stopped because the insurance company says no...

Yup
I think the only real roadblock for this show is going to be the sponsors
If GM is sponsoring the show theres no way theyll rip on any GM car for fear of losing sponsorship.

Top Gear: Tha Yankee Version is all suck. Doesn't quite have the quirkiness that I'm use to with UK's.

awwwww, here, have this picture.

UK Top Gear back on last night with the first of two specials. They compare three supercars driving from Nascar country to New York. Anyone translate what the tyre fitter says?

They've really forgiven the Stig.
