Hey, don't knock the kitties. I have a cat that can and will put you out in seconds flat. I have a cat that growls whenever someone he doesn't know comes to the door. I have a cat that tests people. If she doesn't like you when she first meets you then we trust her judgment and we don't trust you. She's been right every time. I have quite a good security force here.

+.02 seconds of thought towards Amstel.

You know, come to think of it, I know nothing of Amstel. I don't even know if it is a boy or a girl. I think boy but I don't know for sure. Where does he/she live? Does he/she know any of us irl?

I think its a dude too. hmmm....
They should just hand every passenger a handgun when they get on the plane.

I love this idea. At least let people open carry.... the only issue is trusting people enough to be responsible gun owners.

The trust will come knowing that EVERYONE is armed.

And heck, as long as we have these lovely federally funded public schools, firearm education should be mandatory, far more useful than most of the crap that gets 'taught'.

Talk about overreaction. Lol open carry on planes. Multiple shots fired, cabin loses pressure -- catastrophe. I'm all for pre-2001 security.

I'm not talking about trust that someone won't shoot another for something stupid... Trust that the person is well trained.

I mean... there are some people out there that just aren't mindfully capable of being responsible gun owners.

For example, people with dual holsters on their back on crotch rockets. :cough:

maybe it's a product of growing up in missouri, but we did have firearm education in my public school. we were taught all about rifles, shotguns, handguns, bullets, how bullets worked (rimfire, centerfire, powder, bullet, etc.), how shotgun shells worked, the different shot, etc... all with the intent of if we knew how it worked, we wouldn't do something and kill ourselves with a gun accidentally.

taught us hunters safety too.

And the FTC fined the company didn't they? I still hear commercials for it too

yea, they had all sorts of legal issues. what it basically amounted to was false advertising since they didn't actually do anything to prevent peoples identity from being stolen.

also their customer database was unsecure and got stolen or something.
