Thread Kiarmma

Oh yeah here's an example for you Keeks - recently I've had the shittest luck ever money wise, mind wise, everything wise really but then I figure I've not been all that nice to people recently so it's my fault. Except I wonder about the people who have been even less nice than me and shit they must be suffering.

My grandpa, and whoever he stole it from, said it best: good luck is a loser's explanation for a winner's position.

Also, karma doesn't work the way you people are describing it. The actual religious concept of it involved being reincarnated in the next life based on your karma in your previous one. Your karma has zero effect on you in your current life.

That's if you even believe in it. Until someone can show any kind of empirical evidence that karma, fate, luck or any kind of divine intervention has any say whatsoever in the universe, it's all pure random fucking chance.

you know what we're talking about dorkwad *punches arm*

I do not believe in Karma in the spiritual sense.

If you do good things and surround yourself with good things, then good things will tend to happen to you more. Just the same if you do bad things, your life will probably be constantly bad.

Yeah....cos luck has nothing to do with anything. Ever. Has nothing to do with whether you're born in a third world, aids infested country or born with a silver spoon, has nothing to do with which bands end up on the radio vs. those just as talented who don't etc etc etc etc

Uh, that sounds like karma to me.

Do good things - good things happen. Do bad things - bad things happen. Pretty simple.

Yeah, I know. I said essentially the same thing.
