[edit] Main card

8PM over here and free to air. You guys get it on tape. Did I mention it's free here?

How is it possible that there's a UFC event every f*cking day? 122? Let's take this spectacle down a notch.

I've scarcely heard of any of these guys, that's how. a whole night of nobodies.
I don't profess to being the strongest of fans either though.

It a Germany event. They normally put lesser known fighters on card overseas.

There is also another event next weekend. UFC 123

ya, that event pretty much sucked. This week should be good though. The WEC card last week was pretty damn good, they're merging with the UFC in January, so we'll see a bunch of 135 and 145 pounders on the big cards now, which is awesome.

wtf is WEC?

World Extreme Cagefighting. Another MMA company owned by Zuffa, the parent company of the UFC. They basically had 135 (bantamweight), 145 (featherweight) and 155 (lightweight) weight classes.

Remember the name Jose Aldo. You'll see him do amazing things in the UFC starting in January.

technically you should be at the top limit. The athletic committees can stop you from fighting if they feel your weight is too low and would be a disadvantage to you..

BJ penn coming into his fight this weekend weighing 165 against hughes....

also, heavyweight is like 205+, so there's lots of weight discrepancies there, and the commission doesn't do anything about it.
