Halp Cell Phones (again)

The screen protector that I put on mine collects fingerprints a lot, but it doesn't bother me at all. The screen is really bright so you hardly notice them.

If you just got it recently, and it is brand new, it is a 3GS. More details than that require much more historical explanation if you are really that interested.
 
shali, it means 3rd generation. each generation sees increased network speeds for data transmission. sprint has some very limited availability of 4g but all the other providers are currently 3g
 
So chim just got trained on Sprint's new line up of phones and qualifies for 25% off the bill. We can get two Evo 4Gs for around $300 and the plan with unlim data (real unlim, not capped), unlim 4G access, nights starting at 7pm (not 9pm), free calling to ANY cell phone, unlim texting, 1500 anytime minutes, unlim Sprint TV, Navigation $123.50/month after taxes.

Not to shabby I don't think.
 
that's still a pretty good chunk of change to drop on a phone every month. I spent $200 taking one of my younger brothers out drinking on sunday after father's day stuff though so what do I know

Well when we aren't working for a company that will pay for our phones, this is the best we can do.

No cap? Whoah.........does el spreento have a 15/30 day trial period or something? I may be looking for a data card thing.

Their version of the mifi is $70 a month and you can get on their 4g network when it comes to Boston by the end of the year.
 
I HATE the keyboard on the iphone. It is unresponsive, especially if you have dry hands, inaccurate button pressing no tactile feel, bad predictive spelling, slow. The button press animation and the actually displaying of the character are too slow. I literally will type in a word and after 3 seconds it will appear, whether I spelled it correctly or it guessed at the spelling. It has made the phone almost unusable in my opinion. For a smartphone to have a keyboard so useless, it defeats the purpose.

Mine worked just fine on my 3g, and on my 4. Must be you or yours.

And I have fairly calloused hands, to the point it can occasionally cause issues with touchpads.

My 3G was fine before OS 3 came out. Since then it has been a dog. And this is actually a replacement phone, too. Both phones had the slowdowns.
