So I saw a deal for a new Xbox 360 Arcade for $150 and get a $50 Gift Card to Target. This is the response to the new design announced Monday at E3. Out the door I paid $158 after tax, no rebates and have a $50 GC in my hand as well.

Now what do I do with it?

I am not a big gamer. And since it is the Arcade, it doesn't come with a hard drive, so I can't download games. I did see this, however:

When Project Natal comes out, this model will support it.

What I can think of now to use this for, obviously besides playing games with the disks but also as an interconnect to my Windows Home Server for media playback.

Also with this:

When our Toshiba HD-DVD finally dies (it's on the fritz) we can still play back all of our physical disks of movies.

Any other suggestions? Should I just return it? I haven't opened the box yet so technically I have 89 more days to return for a full refund.

I should also premise that we have a PS3 and an HTPC already (and of course a Wii).

Well, get the hard drive , you need it to pretty much do anything worth a shit
My gamertag = JPatrick
Dunno what else you can to with it, since you have everythng else already
Get Red Dead Redemption and Ill let you be my cowgirl:hi2u:

I really want to play this game but fuck playing anything shooting related with crappy console controllers

BTW you don't need a hard drive. you can plug up to 16 gig USB sticks into it format them from the xbox and use them just liek had drives. so get your bitch ass over to microcenter!
