Hawt A cool way to get your kids to eat veggies

I realize the method is a bit new and unorthodox, but I like to consider myself a trend setter, I just tell them to open their mouth and I put the food they don't want to eat in it.

But burger King is A-OK?

My kid doesn't eat that, either. At least not even close to a regular basis.

Veggies are supposed to be a regular basis, and having them eat this much artificial shit is just an overload of artificial shit!

:barf:

Pretty much.

Also, creating "dips" for them. Ketchup, a bit of ranch...etc. Makes it easier for them to actually enjoy the vegetables.

Well it's artificial shit on veggies or McD's which is artificial shit on fat. The first option is better.

My son i spretty good. He likes broccoli, brussels sprouts, peas, corn, carrots an asparagus. Not really any veggie problems aside from lettuce.

we've talked recently about gettin the veggies in.. saw a neato thing on oprah w/jerry seinfeld's wife about pureeing vegs and puttin em in sauce.. pureed carrots in spag sauce for example.. ground up cauliflower in mashed potatoes.. for the most part I'd assume the nutrients are the same whether whole or pureed.

But, the thing with that is, it just makes your kids think they're getting away with not eating veggies, because they don't want to and I don't think that's right.
There are ways to help your kids like weggies.

I was the pickiest eater when I was a child. I wouldn't eat meat, unless it was in broth form. New things scared the crap out of me, and I remember clearly trying to hide my thanksgiving turkey bits in a roll to not eat them.

The one thing I did eat? Vegetables. By the truckload.

My dad had me doing things out in our garden when I was old enough to walk. I helped plant seeds, weed, pick veggies, and lots of times I wouldn't even bring the entire bounty back in the house without snarfing a bunch of it. I think that being hands-on and not even thinking about how vegetables were "gross" by listening to cartoons and other kids and whatnot really cemented my love for them.

My daughter was/is the pickiest eater I ever saw.

When she FIRST starting eating food by hand, she would not touch anything wet, like fruit.

And if she saw jam peeking out of a sandwich, she'd take it apart and throw it on the floor.

And just until recently, she stopped eating pizza, (PIZZA!!), because the sauce is "soooo gross when it touches your hand!"
:wtf:

Wow...that's definitely special!

I wouldn't eat pizza because it had cheese on it. I also wouldn't eat a hamburger to save my life, or spaghetti with sauce on it. But the weird thing was it wasn't a consistency/texture issue. I just assumed those things were gross. Then again, I'm pretty sure I also had "special" tastebuds when I was young because my mother smoked like a chimney, in and out of the house and the smoke smell was EVERYWHERE :barf:
