Um, no. GM has already committed to production
http://gm-volt.com/2008/09/08/breaking-new-full-production-volt-pictures-leaked/

Now if it suceeds or not is a different story.

why can't they ever make the production model look as good as the prototype? they ALWAYS fuck that up and end up producing something that looks like owl vomit

While I can see making it a 4 door instead of a two door, since we really NEED more family sized fuel efficient vehicles, they didn't have to totally blandify it.

I'm honestly shocked GM and the like have put hybrid drivetrains in SUV's before minivans.

the original had bold lines, sexy fenderwell flares, and an aggressive stance...how did it turn into that homogenized shitbox?

GM deserves to go under

I did now, I'm saddened.

Apparantly people *like* these bland, fugly car styles.
Its not about style, its about looking for more viable options to give the entire middle east the finger ... well ... at least for me. I'm not excited about the way it looks, but if it delivers the specs promised and is robustly engineered so it isn't breaking down all the time, then I'd still buy it.

Hey if it works for you, great.

I personally can't stand most of the car styling these days and refuse to buy one of the ones I don't care for.

I'm giving the middle east the finger by working from home :fly:

I give the middle east the finger because I am racist, oil prices just give me a LEGITIMATE reason to dislike them.

It looks flat.

You should be giving the major oil companies of which many are out of the US the finger. The middle east looks like a crappy place to live so as long as they don't screw with us than they are punished enough.

I'm giving the middle east the finger by living 3 blocks from work and having everything I need within walking distance
