Ikea's Customer Service sucks!

I can't contribute anything to a finance club (I don't know anything about it), but I'll join so I can read and learn.

i love this stuff...i don't know why.
i am a transfer whore...i inhale the scent of cc offers with 0% apr on balance transfers...with no transfer fee!!!

If you have shit credit you're supposed to fill out a dispute form for everything negative on your credit reports. The company you dispute had 30 days to respond, if they don't, the big 3 automatically remove it from your credit report.

So if you have crappy credit, every 30-40 days, go fill out the dispute forms and eventually companies will quit responding and it clears your credit up.

Those adds that garuntee to fix your credit... that's all they do.

That's an awesome idea. I never thought about it. Does it cost money to dispute?

That doesn't compute your score though. I am very worried about identity theft as it has happened to a member of my family so I use a company to monitor my credit and I get a new report/score once a month.

Meh, I don't need my score unless I'm trying to get new credit. I just want to check in once a year and make sure everything is still as it should be. That works fine for me. I don't worry about identity theft because I'm sure I will find out soon enough if it does happen. I don't wanna pay someone to monitor it for me.

I know this is foolish, but what ever happened to waiting till you had cash in hand to buy stuff? I mean, with an interest bearing checking account, you can actually end up ... nevermind. I know this won't catch fire here.

Because sometimes you just don't have the extra cash lying around yet you still need the stuff (i.e. refrigerator)

Its not just about the balance. I find it hard to believe that if you actually feel that a no interest loan doesn't mean anything that it will end at just one.

My 0-$100 recurring debt and 810+ credit score tell me I don't need to worry when it comes to those same as cash loans.

using credit is not a bad thing so long as you're educated, responsible, and you use it in moderation...heeeey, lookatthat. a rule which can apply to everything in your life!

Then what don't you get? I get an interest free loan, while my real money sits in the bank to earn interest. Credit cards are not all bad...

Per Suze Orman and Dave Ramsey they are. I believe those two are only preaching to people who need to get out of debt and then YES credit cards are the worst thing to have. :hs:
