so i went to london and met the internet

350 sounds deep. At what point does the pressure actually start to hurt? Additionally, at what point do you lose your hearing?

I'm not sure what the "crush depth" for a human would be.

The Navy has classifed how deep they've gone...

The world record for open-circuit (non umbilical) diving is around 1,000 feet down.

Not on air obviously, various blends of trimix.

she was in a space suit lookin thing too that i'm sure prevented her from being crushed at 1,000 feet :p

rough calculations:
1,000 feet would be (1000/33)+1 atmospheres, which is 31.3atm's, 1atm=14.7psi, so you'd have roughly 460lbs of pressure per sqaure inch at a 1000 feet... compared to the 14.7lbs you feel right now.

that's alot of fuckin pressure. nailguns use what? 120psi?

No space suit needed, just a drysuit probably++

drysuit does nothing to prevent you from being crushed. that's an insane amount of pressure to be under! i gotta beleive they have some special type of reinforced suit to alleviate the problems.

Nope, it doesn't.

But they don't use no special suits.

I think Sheck may have done his ~800ft dives in just a wetsuit.

But remember, we're like 98% water or some such crap like that, so just like the fish that deep, we don't get squarshed.
