I now live in the ghetto. As I got home I got to hear one guy explain to the other guy why his life would be better if he would split his 40 with him.
that's not ghetto. if you were in the ghetto there'd be no talk of sharing. there'd just be *blam**blam* -- new owner of the 40.

I did hear a noise as I shut my door.

The new neighbors like to sit around in their front yard. In all the living room furniture from I'm guessing inside their house because it's not all there at night.

 In one of the neighborhoods here there was a guy grilling on his roof. He managed to drag his grill on top of his house. :fly:

You should have enough cash saved up to survive for at least a year after starting your own business, from what I hear anyway :p

Indeed.

You should have enough money for 1 year in total. Salaries (don't NOT draw a salary), rent, taxes, utilities, etc.

Also consider the fact that if you lease a storefront it would be for 3 - 5 years so you'd need to deal with that somehow if the business didn't work.

Do forget to start the appropriate LLC, s-corp, c-corp, etc, etc.

tons of standing water on the roads into work this morning and I pretty much hydroplaned the whole way in...my balloon knot --> .

Yikes double negative from hell!

I was hoping to start out of the home and if it took off get a store front. Bad idea?

Not sure, I'd love to cook for start up a bakery... even buying into a franchise would be neat.

More than anything, I have the office blues... so tired of working 8-5 in a cube.

oh my wah...you've been working in an office for what, 3-4 years? :fly:

You can't sell food out of your home very easily. WAY too difficult to keep it in line with the health departments standards. If food is involved, you'll want an outside location.

 i may have said this before, but i frikkin love it so I'm repeating it:

pops got a saying, "I figure if you got a sandwich, and I got a gun, I've got a gun and a sandwich."

I, my friend, live very close to the hood.. the hood is when they finish the quart and drop it in your yard like it's LITERALLY a trash can. I prob get 3 empty quart bottles per week.

About six, this is not what I want to do with my life. :(

Thats what Fly said to me, actually his words were, "I would not buy food from you, I am unsure of your hygiene." or something like that...

A co-worker got me all excited about it because she pulled it off. Just making pies for the small mom and pop restaurants in the area. She went door to door with tasters and menu's to leave to get the word out.

Indeed. Wherever you're making food in your home would have to follow the exact same guidelines as a commercial kitchen. Nothing changes by simply running it out of your house.
