INteresting non-lethal weapon

I believe a more accurate phrase was less-lethal, not non-lethal. You and I both wear glasses, sometimes contacts for me. I wouldn't want to be around one while it is being used. Also, reflecting off of water, the ground and buildings focuses the beam. But it is better than getting a clip unloaded on my ass so I say go for it.

It also is worse legally than actually shooting people dead in crowd control situations. It's not effective for most military applications. It does sound cool though, and it feels good, so congress will spend money on it.

It's also been around since 1996~

Edit: It's also made by Raytheon. Like the only company I have a major position in. Mostly for the missle arm though. Omgz monies.

KNYTE: Yeah, they don't use these except in extreme riot situations. Imagine having your body heat up from inside out to the point that it's excrutiatingly painful and the only thing you can do to about it is run away from the source. They're great at dispersing crowds.

what ever happened to good old water cannons? obviously WAY cheaper and every bit as effective if not more so

the mitary has all sorts of interesting weapons at there disposal, its interesting, but theres always the possibility of them being caputured and used on us. and the availability. how long will it take these vehicles to reach the desination, and how long does a typical siutaion where they're needed last?

And are they to equip all Hummers with 1,000 gallon water tanks?

They accelerate and corner like Nell Carter in house slippers already.

they use something akin to a firetruck
